International Development Association (IDA)

The International Development Association (IDA) publishes financial statements going back to 1961. It's annual report is included on the website of the Worldbank Group and on finances.worldbank.org.

IDA credits are public and publicly guaranteed debt extended by the World Bank Group. IDA provides development credits, grants and guarantees to its recipient member countries to help meet their development needs.

Other complementary organizations of the World Bank Group are the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), International Finance Corporation (IFC), Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) and International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).

Data

Grants/Projects/IATI

Worldbank IATI data covers IBRD and IDA development flows. It does not cover non-IBRD/IDA flows (Donor funded, recipient executed tasks financed by grants administered by the World Bank).

Procurement

Data on procurement, notices and contract awards are published by the Worldbank. These datasets provide information on commitments against major Bank-funded contracts prior-reviewed by the Bank and awarded under IBRD/IDA investment projects and related Trust Funds (from 2007 to date). Note, however, that the dataset does not list all contracts awarded by the Bank. "Supplier Country" represents place of supplier registration, which may or not be the supplier's actual country of origin. Information does not include awards to subcontractors nor account for cofinancing.
